Where is Intrusta based?
Intrusta's headquarters are located in Burlington, Massachusetts. We're a global team, but a majority of our employees sit just north of Boston.
How long have you been in business?
We launched the Intrusta app in September 2018. However, Intrusta has been a company since January 2018.
Do you offer a free trial?
We do! Click here for a 7-day free trial of Intrusta!
Do you accept Paypal or direct debit as a form of payment?
We do not. Currently, we accept payments from Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express cards.
Can I purchase Intrusta at a store or over the phone? Will you send me a CD after I purchase?
Currently, Intrusta is only available for purchase and download through our website. Payment is taken securely on an encrypted platform, and if you purchase a new device or reset your device Intrusta is currently installed on, you can re-download application directly from your online account.
Will this work on my tablet, Android, or iPhone?
Support for mobile and tablet devices is currently in development. Currently, we do not have a version of Intrusta that will function on those platforms. If you'd like to be notified when support for mobile and tablet devices is available, you can request to do so here. In addition, iPhone and iPads do not require coverage. Learn More here.
Will Intrusta slow down my computer?
We've designed Intrusta and Intrusta's scan schedule to cause as little disruption as possible to your regular computer usage. Running a scan shouldn't slow down your computer, but if it does, you can always pause your scan and continue it when you've finished your work. What is Game Mode?
Game Mode allows for a temporary suspension of Intrusta's antivirus protection so that resources are freed up on a user's computer. This makes it easier for resource heavy games to run smoothly on a user's computer. Game Mode is available for Intrusta users now, and can be turned on in the "Game Mode" section of our app. To learn more, click here.
How often does Intrusta update virus definitions?
Intrusta is designed to search for updates every 4 hours. This is a silent, invisible process that the app does on its own. No need for you to take any additional steps- as long as Intrusta is installed, it will self-maintain with the most up to date information.
